You can create tasks and assign them to people in your stream. You can also upload files or take notes.
To make it easier to use the calendar for important milestones and meetings, you can add events.

You can also view your work through the tasks view or calendar view if you are uncomfortable with the conversation stream. You can also view all files and notes.
